paradise in uttrakhand in the district of Uttarkashi there is a beautiful lake
which surrounded by high peak mountains at an altitude of 3310 meters above the
sea level it is situated in north india
About Dodital Trek
Dodital is named after the himalyan tourist known as
dodi in a local language in this lake one of the very few water bodies where
himalyan tourist are found in . in the one side of corner of the lake there is
a beautiful temple which is dedicated to the lord ganesha According to the
hindu books or mythology this is the olace where lord ganesha was borned the
diameter and circumference of the lake is 1.6 kilometers which sourrounded by
very dense forest around you can reached in dodital from Delhi in 3 days in
Uttarkashi and by trekking 22 kilometers from sangam chatti . the
trekking in dodital is easy but if you wanna go through in moderate way you can
go from darwa pass now it’s takes 7 to 8 days approximately to trek in
this place the trekking level is moderate here beginners also can came here for
trek and it is a easy trek also for beginners

Harsil is an unexplored and hidden place in Uttarakhand state

the lap of Himalayas mountain. It is located on the banks of Bhagirathi River
at an Height of of 2620 meters above sea level. This mejestic hamlet has become
very popular in recent years among travel enthusiasts and nature lovers.
Day 00 : Departure from Delhi at Night
Day 01 : Dehradun - Uttarkashi – Sangam Chatti – Bebra (164
kilometres drive) and trek is 8 kilometres )
From Mussoorie bypass road offering you very beautiful scenic
views . driving 5 to 6 hours from Mussoorie you get to see the biggest tehri
dam lake driving towards Chilianisaur in Uttarkashi you can buy all the
necessary items from Uttarkashi market . sangam chatti is is far from 15
kilometres from Uttarkashi that’s why you need to first all of your necessary
like water food etc. after cross the bridge of sangam chatti over a small
stream andstart the trek to reach Agoda village the bebra gate is situated 2
kilometers beyond agoda village it’s takes around 4 hours to reach bebera from
sangam chatti .
You should
need to start trekking early to reach dodital trek around after the lunch the
route to the dodital trek goes through the very dense forest of oak ,
rhododendron and dedor there are very wide gorgeous valleys during the trek .
after 9 kilometers of trek you’ll reach the mountain of manjhi , a another beautiful campsite where the lots
of shepherd living in huts , manjhi is beyond about 5 kilometers from dodital
trek and its’ take 6 hours to reach the dodital trek to bebra .
Day 3 :
Dodital – Darwa Top (10 kilometers )
In 3rd day you will see the steep climb to
darwa top the 5 kilometers trek for this you need to leave bebra early in the
morning and start climbing because it’s take time to climb 5 kilometers steep
trek it is situated an altitude of 4150 meters above the sea level from here
you will see the the majestic views of the Himalayan horizon the elevation of
this mountain is cloud touching .
Day 4 : Dodital – Agoda (trek 14 kilometers )
Now you can trek down to Agoda village or sangam chatti
anywhere you want in both places
Day 5 : Bebra to sangam chatti – uttarkashi – Dehradun
(8 kilometer trek) and drive – 165 kilometers
